The Hypnotherapy Diploma is structured in two 3 day modules (Friday, Saturday & Sunday)
Module 1: Intro to Hypnosis: Underpinning Theory and Principles and methods of induction
Module 2: Hypnosis: Personality Types, Language Patterns and Models of Communication
We aim to teach students understanding and safe applications of hypnosis.

To enable the students to gain an understanding of the nature of hypnosis; to understand the professional and ethical issues surrounding hypnosis as a treatment modality

For the students to have a general understanding of procedures for the application of hypnosis to common psychological disorders and difficulties, medical problems, and medical and dental interventions; and to understand the rationale behind their use

To enable the student to teach their clients suitable methods of self-hypnosis and use of imagery and suggestion which can be utilised as required by the client.

To enable the student to apply hypnotic procedures competently in those areas which fall within the scope of his or her professional work.

To enable the student to recognise whenever an unforeseen problem arises with a client for which the Practitioner is not equipped to deal with, how to contain such a problem safely and how to refer on as appropriate.

To enable the student, in an educational role, to explain the principles and uses of hypnosis to raise public awareness and understanding of hypnosis.

Content
The first weekend of the course is an introduction to hypnosis, techniques and treatments which will be invaluable for stress management and self improvement techniques. You will have the opportunity to learn and practice methods of induction.
During the second module, you will be introduced to a range of personality types, the measurement of hypnotisability and its connection to personality and the importance of personalities for rapport and implications for treatment. Next we will provide you with the opportunities to develop your understanding of a range of language patterns, models of communication with specific reference to hypnosis including a range of techniques and exercises for personal excellence.
