This 3 day tai chi for health courses are designed to provide tai chi and chi-kung skills to staff delivering exercise and well-being sessions to clients/residents for rehabilitation
The level 1 course will include:
seated & standing Chi-kung (qigong), how to structure sessions, working with patient groups, the structure of relaxation and how to imbed change in your stories
Level 2 will include:
more advanced chi-kung and a tai chi short form, further work on motivations and confidence

The tai chi for Rehabilitation course will include both seated and standing tai chi suitable for all levels of mobility and ability. The course will also include class planning and motivation.
The aim of this course is to make the skills accessible to:

Exercise to music tutors (extend etc)

Exercise class assistants, TI's

Exercise professionals
We will review:

Research into tai chi for rehabilitation

Tai Chi & Chi-kung as exercise

Class planning for progression and outcomes
We will provide on-going support in the form of annual updates (CPD’s), DVD’s and hand-outs
