Everyone in Hopwood has been really pulling together over this. We're actually talking and building a real hamlet/village feel. The community spirit has been fantastic....!! We will be adding information, photo's, NEWS etc as it is passed on. In fact it would be fantastic to keep this site going for the community once this immediate issue is resolved. The motorcorss has been stopped and peace returned. We all thought a smaller development would be built at the bottom of Smedley Crook but the planning comittee have OK'd the 20 houses even against the recommendations of the Planning Officer.
