Working with the NHS
Preceptorship
A Preceptor is seen as an identified experienced practitioner who provides transitional role support and learning experiences within a collegial relationship for a specific time, while continuing to perform some or all of the other responsibilities of their position.
The aim of our preceptor and preceptee training is to imbed the skills necessary to develop effective communication skills, continued development and experiential learning. Sounds complicated but ultimately supporting new staff is the aim.
Each preceptorship satisfies professional regulatory requirements, (e.g. NMC Guidance on preceptorship for new registrants),

Modular approach to NLP for NHS staff
What is it and how is it different?
Over the years there have been many attempts to deliver NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) into the NHS, some more successful than others. NLP itself is an ideal set of tools for health professionals as it is the study of subjective experience. Much research has shown that over 70% of illness is emotionally induced rather than a primary physical condition. With the increasing interest in brief therapies such as CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) and EMDR, now is the time to develop a whole systems approach to change with primary clinicians and allied health professionals.
The difficulty in the past has been training everyone in a modular way that enables development in specific areas, plus the option to develop in associated areas, each with CPD value.
We believe we This approach is unique.
