Tackling Anxiety With NLP & Hypnotherapy

This is probably the most commonly identified state; in fact one patient told me she didn't know she was anxious until her doctor had told her so.

Anxiety can causes a sense of dread or panic which is then directed at escaping or avoiding the source of anxiety. Although panic attacks are not experienced by every anxiety sufferer, they are a common symptom. Panic attacks usually come without warning, and although the fear is generally irrational, the perceived danger is very real. A person experiencing a panic attack will often feel as if he or she is about to die or pass out. This is a throw back to the fight-or-flight state from our caveman days.

Emotional symptoms of anxiety include a fear (such as a fear of an illness), or the need to avoid certain stressful situations or social situations due to fear of embarrassment. There may be considerable confusion and irritability when the anxiety is taking place. Physical symptoms can include hot flushes, chest pain, sudden tiredness, headaches, shortness of breath, problems digesting and nausea.

Genreally the truth behind the feelings have been blown out of all proportion, although it will not seem that way right now. We will teach you to relax and get a clearer perspective on the condition.

Remember, anxiety is something you are doing, it is not who you are.
