Professional Recognition & Standards
Training You Can Have Confidence In
Professional recognition matters.
It provides assurance that training isn't simply based upon our own interpretation of what constitutes good practice, but sits within wider professional standards and development pathways.
Balanced Approach training is informed by extensive professional experience across NLP, coaching, healthcare, organisational development and professional education.
Society of Neuro-Linguistic Programming — SNLP
Our NLP training is accredited through the Society of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (SNLP).

The Society was established by the co-developers of NLP and has played an important role in the development and certification of NLP training internationally.
Balanced Approach provides a structured NLP development pathway including:

- NLP Master Practitioner
- NLP Trainer
Mark Peters is a Master Trainer of NLP with the Society of NLP, a co-owner, and is part of the international group of Master Trainers involved in the continuing development of the Society.

Coaching & Professional Development
Our coaching programmes are designed to develop practical coaching competence through training, experience, feedback and reflective practice.
For those wishing to develop professionally as coaches, our Complete Coaching Package combines coaching training with NLP Practitioner development and provides a pathway towards Licensed NLP Coach recognition through the Society of NLP, subject to the relevant requirements.
Those seeking membership or recognition through other professional coaching organisations should always check the current requirements of the individual professional body.
Healthcare & Organisational Training
Our Healthcare and Business programmes are primarily delivered as commissioned in-house professional development.
Rather than claiming generic accreditation for every workshop, we work with organisations to identify their objectives and design training around the knowledge, skills and capabilities they need their people to develop.
Where relevant, programmes can be aligned with existing organisational frameworks, professional standards and development requirements.
Department for Work & Pensions — Approved Supplier

Balanced Approach is an approved supplier to the Department for Work & Pensions (DWP).
This enables eligible training and professional development to be commissioned through relevant DWP programmes and funding arrangements, subject to current eligibility and approval requirements.
If you are considering training through a DWP-supported route, please contact us to discuss the programme you are interested in and the information you may need.

Professional Standards
Across all our training, we aim to maintain a consistent approach:
clear learning outcomes;
practical and experiential learning;
appropriate professional and ethical standards;
feedback and reflective development;
training designed to develop capability rather than dependency.
