The NLP Train the Trainer Certification Program is a professionally structured training designed for NLP Master-Practitioners who wish to competently and ethically deliver NLP training to others. The programme focuses on translating NLP and Coaching skill into effective, engaging, and safe training delivery, using best practice from NLP, adult learning theory, and experiential education.

This course is delivered entirely live on Zoom and combines demonstration, practice, feedback, and supervised delivery to ensure participants are fully prepared to train NLP in real-world settings.

Course Structure

The programme runs over 9 days, delivered as three intensive training blocks of three consecutive days. All sessions are delivered live via Zoom and are highly interactive, making extensive use of breakout rooms, demonstrations, supervised practice, and peer feedback.

Each block builds progressively from foundations, through advanced facilitation skills, to live delivery and assessment.

Block 1 (3 Days): Foundations of NLP Training

Learning Outcomes
By the end of Block 1, participants will be able to:

• Explain and apply core NLP principles, presuppositions, and ethical considerations within a training context.
• Apply adult learning theory to the design and delivery of experiential NLP training.
• Demonstrate core NLP skills clearly and safely for training purposes.
• Design structured training sessions with clear learning outcomes and appropriate pacing.
• Demonstrate professional trainer presence, confidence, and congruence in an online environment.

Delivery Mode: Live Online (Zoom)

Day 1 – NLP Foundations & Adult Learning

• Review of core NLP principles, presuppositions, and ethical considerations.
• How adults learn: experiential learning cycles and learning readiness.
• Representational systems (VAK), state management, and engagement in an online environment.

Day 2 – Teaching Core NLP Skills

• Structuring and teaching foundational NLP techniques including rapport, calibration, anchoring, and reframing.
• Demonstration skills and modelling excellence as a trainer.
• Converting practitioner competence into teachable training segments.

Day 3 – Training Design & Trainer Mindset

• Defining learning outcomes and managing participant expectations.
• Structuring sessions for clarity, safety, and impact.
• Developing trainer presence, confidence, congruence, and authority.

Block 2 (3 Days): Advanced Training & Facilitation Skills

Learning Outcomes
By the end of Block 2, participants will be able to:

• Deliver engaging and effective NLP training sessions in a live online environment.
• Facilitate group discussions and experiential exercises with confidence and clarity.
• Manage group dynamics, resistance, and challenging situations ethically and professionally.
• Provide constructive, developmental feedback that supports learning and integration.
• Design assessment and feedback processes that support learning transfer.

Day 4 – Presentation & Facilitation Skills Online

• Voice, language patterns, pacing, and use of space on camera.
• Managing energy, attention, and rapport in virtual rooms.
• Framing, opening, and closing training segments effectively.

Day 5 – Group Dynamics & Managing Challenges

• Facilitating discussions and exercises in breakout rooms.
• Managing challenging questions, resistance, and emotional responses.
• Maintaining psychological safety, boundaries, and ethical practice online.

Day 6 – Feedback, Assessment & Learning Transfer

• Giving clear, developmental feedback using NLP-based language.
• Peer review processes and reflective learning.
• Supporting integration, accountability, and post-training change.

Block 3 (3 Days): Live Delivery, Assessment & Certification

• Teach advanced and abstract NLP concepts in a structured and accessible way.
• Design and deliver coherent multi-session NLP training programmes.
• Demonstrate competent, ethical, and confident NLP training delivery.

Day 7 – Teaching Advanced NLP Content

• Teaching abstract and advanced NLP material including timelines, strategies, and meta-programmes.
• Use of metaphor, storytelling, and experiential exercises.
• Designing coherent multi-session NLP training programmes.

Day 8 – Supervised Training Delivery

• Delivery of short training segments by each participant.
• Structured observation and feedback from trainers and peers.
• Refinement of content, style, pacing, and delivery.

Day 9 – Final Assessment & Professional Pathways

• Delivery of a longer assessed training session.
• Briefing for written assignment and video submission.
• Professional practice, ethics, and next steps as an NLP trainer.

Certification Requirements

To achieve certification, participants must:

1. Complete a Written Assignment
   Design and submit an original NLP training module or workshop outline demonstrating sound structure, learning outcomes, and ethical delivery.
2. Submit a Training Video
   Provide a recorded training session (approximately 20 minutes) demonstrating competent NLP teaching, facilitation, and trainer presence.

All submissions are assessed by experienced trainers, with structured developmental feedback provided.
